Weekly Update 7/11 Devon

Devon Liu
  • We were able to make the LED to blink using esp8266 / Arduino
  • We are currently learning Python through Code Academy
  • We wrote our project proposals, but they are still in their early stages (living document)
  • We read over and are reviewing Pooja’s Pre-lab on the fabrication process of SCP actuators
  • We finished our Journal Club presentations on our particular journal articles (I did a presentation of the fabrication process of twisted and coiled polymer (TCP) muscles and Anthony did one on artificial muscles from fishing line and sewing thread)
  • We wrote out our weekly schedule in more detail, including times frames in days
  • Ongoing assignment: read more journal articles (which we also did these past couple of weeks)
