Testing Actuator on Testing System

This week I worked on attaching the SCP actuator onto the testing system. To do so, four strings of SCP acututors are created from threads of length of about 35 cm, which is significantly longer than the threads we used before. In doing so, we hope that the stretch of SCP actuator would increase. However, when testing our theory, the actuator did not stretch as expected. This would mean that the actuator will not perform well on our actual mechanical logic. In the next week, we hope to increase the length of the actuator so that it can stretch longer.
