Engineering Open House 2017 Recap

Overview

The 2017 Engineering Open House is an event targeted towards students admitted to UCLA under the Engineering Departments. The Roco and Traffic teams presented the research each had been working on to all the potential Electrical Engineering students to show the kind of work undergraduates in the pragram can do. The slides used for this event by the Roco team can be found here.

RoCo Presentation

The RoCo presentation seemed to be recieved well by the audience, which consisted of the potential students and their parents. THe presentation covered a brief overview of what RoCo is, its functionality, and motivation behind the project. Then, a fairly shallow explanation was given for the implementation of each of the interfaces of RoCo and the reasons those interfaces were designed in that way.
