Controlling three origami cars with one joystick using mesh networking
Jillian Naldrien Pantig origami robots rocolib tank RoCo cars mesh networking swarmDuring SURP 2021’s Week 7, Bhavik Joshi (Team Arnhold) and I were able to create a swarm of car robots using his Mesh Networking code and my cars. The cars were controlled by a single joystick through Sudarshian Seshadri’s (Team Arnhold) React-app dash. A gif of the car swarm is attached below.
It can be seen that there is a delay between the cars when they move, and this may be due to the weight put into the car or the way the wheels are placed into the car or the varying motors of the car. This will be improved for the upcoming integrated demo on Week 8.
