Based on what happened in the experiments, we found that there may be some other definitions of snap-through other than reaching the critical switching point, depending on whether the system is under force control or displacement control. For this reason, new model of the mechanical logic system might be needed, but this model would be really similar to the one we used before, as all we need to change is the expression of the force and displacement at the point the bistable beam snaps through. Specifically, we are currently working on precisely determining the exact point snap-through occurs in any given system and modeling it.
