I have begun testing different designs for mounting servos and DC motors in any orientation and at any position on each of the boat hull morphologies, as shown in these photos: servoMountDesigns.pdf. I'm testing them by hand first (using tape and scissors), before sending them off to Jill for her to implement using RoCo. After we get the motor mounts designed and parametrized, we will move on to the ESP Stack mounts, camera mounts, and radio mounts.
I also printed out three existing boat designs: a catamaran, a tug, and a trimaran (only shown with one boat hull, since I've removed the others for testing purposes. The catamaran sinks after a few hours, since the two planks are not secured to sit flat on the surface of the water.
