Amir is a fourth year undergraduate student at UCLA, majoring in Electrical Engineering.At the moment his research is about designing new control system for rockets using off-center spinning mass. In his free time he enjoys writing poems and as a former member of UCLA wrestling club whenever he gets a chance he would love to get back on the mat for some rolls and drills.
Research:
My current work focuses on implementing external localization using mo-cap systems in order to employ autonomous flying of quad-copters. This project aims to provide an infrastructure for future research interests of Lemur lab. Here is a quick summary of my current progress: prepared for the "April-2019 lab open house".
