William received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from UCLA in 2016. He created CoLo, a performance evaluation system for 2-dimensional multi-robot cooperative localization algorithms. CoLo includes a physical robotic testbed for data collection and a software tool for performance analysis. Currently, he is working on developing a cooperative SLAM algorithm on resource-constrained robots. It aims to achieve reliable SLAM results with lower computational costs for a multi-robot system.
