High performance radio frequency (RF) transceivers require careful engineering design in expensive RF processes and large chip areas for RF passives. The proposed design of an integrated all-digital single-chip radio transceiver will not require any off-chip components, and can be moved from process to process, layout to layout with minimum effort. Thus, the single-chip radio can be easily included onto any digital microcontroller to enable wireless communication between multiple nodes.
