Abeni is a third year undergraduate student at UCLA. She began researching with the LEMUR Lab as a part of the Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) 2024. She is interested in researching computational approaches to environmental and health related issues that have tangible effects on helping people live healthier lives. Her project is focused on state estimation of a river network, which has applications to sensing environmental events such as flooding events.
